The Barone Family: A Look into the Current Status of the Cast

Introduction: As I sit here, sipping on a cup of coffee and reflecting on the good old days, I couldn't help but think about my family - the Barones. My brother Ray, the center of attention, always was (and still is). But what about the rest of us? How are we doing? In this post, I'll give you an update on the current status of my family members and where they are today.

Ray Romano: The Center of Attention

It's no surprise that Ray is still going strong. He's been keeping busy with various projects, including stand-up comedy tours and acting gigs in TV shows and films. I'm not complaining (much). He's always been the one who gets the spotlight, but it's hard not to admire his talent and dedication. Interestingly, Ray recently finished rewatching our show, "Everybody Loves Raymond," and shared his thoughts on social media. It seems he's happy with how the series turned out, and I couldn't agree more - we made some pretty great TV back in the day.

Patricia Heaton: The Voice of Debra

Patricia Heaton, our wonderful wife and mom, has continued to act in various projects over the years. She's appeared in several TV shows and films, including a few sitcoms that seem to have followed in our footsteps (I'm looking at you, "The Middle"). I think she's done just fine without me stealing all the attention. In fact, Patricia recently celebrated her 60th birthday with a big bash, surrounded by friends and family. I hope she didn't mention my name too much, though - I like to think I'm still the favorite.

David and Samantha Barone: The Kids

My kids, David and Samantha, are grown now (gasp!). They've both moved out of the house and started their own families. It's bittersweet seeing them spread their wings, but I couldn't be prouder. David's doing well in his career as a lawyer, while Samantha's pursuing her passion for art. They're both making me proud, even if they don't always listen to my advice (I'm working on that).

Armstrong and Robert Barone: The Dads

My dad, Frank, passed away many years ago, but his memory lives on. He was a wonderful man who taught us kids the importance of hard work and honesty. As for me, I'm still doing my thing as an NYPD cop. It's not always easy, but someone's gotta keep the streets safe around here. And let's be real, it's not like I have a choice - I'm stuck in this job until retirement (or a nervous breakdown, whichever comes first).

Other Updates

I also wanted to mention that Sawyer Sweeten, our little Geoffrey, sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 19. It was a devastating loss for all of us, and I'm still getting used to the idea of not having him around. In conclusion: As you can see, my family is doing just fine. We've got our ups and downs, like any family, but we always stick together in the end. And let's be real, it's not like Ray would do anything to hurt us (ahem). Just kidding - sort of. All joking aside, I'm grateful for my family and the love we share. It may not always be easy being part of a large, boisterous family like ours, but it's worth it in the end.
