Debra says it's "deep" and has "great character development," whatever that means. All I know is she's been glued to the TV for hours, ignoring me and our kids (I swear, it's like we're invisible). And let me tell you, my family dynamics are already complicated enough without adding some fictional Japanese drama to the mix.
As a sports writer, I'm more used to talking about the intricacies of a well-executed Hail Mary pass than the complexities of anime relationships. But hey, if it gets Debra off my case for a while, I'll watch it with her...from a safe distance, where I can still control the remote.
