8 Hidden Life Lessons from 14 Years of My Hilarious Mishaps

I'm not sure how I've managed to survive all these years without losing my mind or getting kicked out of Queens. But, hey, that's a story for another time. As I look back on the countless silly situations Carrie and I have found ourselves in over the past 14 years, I've started to realize that there are actually some valuable lessons hidden amongst all the chaos. Lesson #1: Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is... nothing. I've mastered this art over the years. Just sit back, relax, and let the world go by. Unless, of course, Carrie needs help with something – then it's time to get your lazy butt moving.

What's more important? A fancy new gadget or a good game of fantasy football with your buddies? Yeah, didn't think so. Focus on what really brings you joy (like watching TV or eating) and don't worry too much about the rest.

Carrie's always telling me to communicate more effectively, but let's be real – sometimes it's better just to wing it. Unless you're trying to avoid getting into trouble, in which case, communication is crucial. But only up to a point.
