Despite all the craziness that comes with raising a family, I wouldn't trade our unconventional Christmas traditions for anything in the world. In fact, they're some of my favorite moments from our lives together.

A Quirky Family Recipe

One thing that's become a staple of our holiday season is our infamous 'Turkey-a-Roni' dish. Yeah, you read that right – Turkey-a-Roni. It's a recipe passed down from my wife Debra's family (don't ask), and it involves combining turkey, pasta, and some kind of sauce I can only describe as 'interesting'. Now, I'm not gonna lie, the first time we made this monstrosity, it was...well, let's just say it didn't exactly impress our guests. But over the years, we've perfected the recipe (if you can call it that), and now it's a family favorite. Okay, maybe 'favorite' is stretching it – but it's definitely a...memory-maker.

Gift-Giving Gone Wild

Another one of our holiday traditions is the infamous 'gift exchange gone wrong'. It all started when my dad, Frank, decided to give me a pair of plaid pants for Christmas. I mean, who gives someone plaid pants as a gift? But that was just the beginning – over the years, we've seen gifts ranging from a toaster that shoots bread (don't ask) to a VHS player (remember those?) with only 47 minutes of tape left on it. And let's not forget the time my brother Robert gave me a coupon book filled with promises of 'one free hug', 'one free helping of his world-famous meatloaf', and 'one free pass to skip doing chores for a day'. Yeah, that was...enlightening.
